My content creator journey.
I created a website and instagram and called it :”eco princess fae”. It was my way to help the environment by creating awareness of how human activity is affecting the enviroment and what can we do to help.
Then, I started my personal brand back in… 2019? I was posting here and there but wasn’t sure what to do with it. I got the opportunity to work with Tiktok in 2020 creating educational content for them. One of my videos went viral (33.1M views and counting) and the rest is history.
I’ve been creating for years now to help others, as a creative outlet, and for funsies.
The story behind my content.
I’m a non-traditional student. I’m a first-generation student (my parents don’t have a college degree), I’m a latina immigrant in STEM (I had to learn English at 19 years old and Latinas are underrepresented in my field), and I’m also a mom of 2 (I had my son during my junior year of college and my daughter in my 2nd year of PhD). Being a non-traditional student brings its own set of challenges. That’s why now I share my story and helpful tips for students to thrive in college. I also have my series of “work smarter not harder” because optimization is life π.
Brands I’ve worked with:
Adobe, Microsoft, Tiktok, Apple, Amazon, T-Mobile, Samsung, HP, Dell, Chegg, Grammarly, Best Buy, Target, Walgreens, Walmart, Brita, 3M, Girls Who Code, Glossier, Goop, Clinique, Glow Recipe, Lulus, bareMinerals, Autonomous, and many more.
